I send out a regular email to my peeps a couple of days a week and generally I blather on about something or other that pops up into my mind at any given time!
Well this week I was listing things that I think are nice and mentioned that I like to smell my dogs’ feet!
I have lived almost my whole life without smell because I have a TERRIBLE snooty and am allergic to almost everything (including dogs and cats… hahaha!)
And one of the ladies answered me and said, “You need to smell cats’ feet.”
Wait, what?
I have NEVER contemplated that, mostly because Kitty has her claws and I am afraid of her!
I KNOW I love the smell of my dogs feet because they walk in the grass and they have weird tootsie things going on at all times… what could kitty feet bring to the party? She only goes to our primary bath, the closets and her litter box!
So I gingerly approached kitty (she ran), finally getting her in a big hug and sniffing her toe beans… nothing!
So now I am feeling all silly…. I can’t smell much anyways and now I have abducted and squished my cat for nothing!
That said, it did take up a few minutes when I didn’t have to work, gave me something to talk to you about and kitty got a snuggle!
Here is Betty… she is a derp!
Do you smell any of your animals? DO NOT tell me to smell horses or cows, I would probably be writing next about being arrested for trespassing and animal cruelty!
Not sure ‘bout this one . . .
My fur babies (dogs) both like having their feet massaged, but I’ve not actually smelled their feet . . . should I take that next step? Then what’s next . . . kissing their toes?? They’ll most likely think I’ve completely lost it and become just the shadows of my mind . . . only coming out for food.
Hmmmmm . . . I’ll keep you posted
Crystal
PS: There are no kitties here yet . . . I’m looking for a black kitty who’s looking for a human
Our dog just always smells like Fritos, no matter how many baths or prescriptions she endures. We don't even have to sniff her toes - it's just her signature scent, lol.🐶
