I am a deep thinker, but with my personality type that is a super short process… we are good at taking large amounts of data and distilling it down into simple concepts!
Well last night I had a dream (super convoluted, there was a pipe where you could talk to people on the other side of the town… what?!?!?!) Anyways, in my dream there was a fundraising component and I saw that the gal next to me had $5,000 listed and I knew I couldn’t beat her.
So then my brains started thinking, what if we aggregated all the other people in the room who couldn’t beat $5K and made them a team… would we beat the people who had access to deep pockets?
I gave chat the details about my plan and this is what she said about it…
I’d even go so far as to say: this dream is giving “cooperative abundance” vibes. Not just can you win, but can you change the entire dynamic of what it means to win. The big-money folks might raise more individually, but your collective could have:
More energy
More joy
More support for one another
And possibly... more total money, if you stack those small donations just right.
Anyways, if I have have to have this stuck in my craw, now you do too!
I get lots of things stuck in my craw, mostly art or home decor projects that I want to make and then I am left noodling about them for days.
The problem comes when I have ACTUAL work or family obligations that stop me from being able to act on all the detritus floating around in my head!
So here are my top ways of dealing with my obsessive thoughts:
Ask chat about them… sometimes just hearing the answer is enough to let me move on!
Write them down in my “think about them later” list… David Allen of Getting Things Done fame helped me to understand how to keep my ideas organized and out of my head! (affiliate link where I could earn a small amount of money if you purchase through my link)
Start them… I have A LOT of started things that never get finished because my, “wouldn’t this be cool” drive is running hot!
Banish them… I had a talk about obsessive thoughts with my besty the other day and told her about my, “hey we aren’t going to think about that right now” plan (I was ruminating over something stupid I had done when I was 15… sigh).
Hopefully this helps if you have something stuck in your craw! Stop noodling on it and try one of these tactics to get it out!

Words fail me! If I got rid of all my half finished bright ideas I would solve the problem of no space in my craft room. If I could find a way of not ruminating on past and present pho pars. I could throw away the chill pills. This post is pointing out all my problems, If you can find the answer to these (I call them creative problems) you could be rich.
I woke up this am with the idea of starting a business. Breakfast taco food truck. Open at 7 am until 2pm. My husband looked at me like I had two heads. We have been retired now for 21 years. Obviously, there won’t be a food truck. My mind is a huge cog of wheels that spins non-stop. I so can relate!
